On the dependence on parameters for mountain pass solutions of second order discrete BVP's

چکیده
We investigate the continuous dependence on parameters for the mountain pass solutions of second order discrete equations with p-Laplacian and Dirichlet type boundary conditions. We show that assumptions leading to the existence of nontrivial solutions lead also to its continuous dependence on parameters. We investigate also the uniqueness of solutions. 2012 Elsevier Inc. Nonexistence and existence results for a 2$n$th-order $p$-Laplacian discrete Neumann boundary value problem
This paper is concerned with a 2nth-order p-Laplacian difference equation. By using the critical point method, we establish various sets of sufficient conditions for the nonexistence and existence of solutions for Neumann boundary value problem and give some new results. Results obtained successfully generalize and complement the existing ones.
متن کاملMultiple Periodic Solutions for a Fourth-order Discrete Hamiltonian System
By means of a three critical points theorem proposed by Brezis and Nirenberg and a general version of Mountain Pass Theorem, we obtain some multiplicity results for periodic solutions of a fourth-order discrete Hamiltonian system ∆u(t− 2) +∇F (t, u(t)) = 0, for all t ∈ Z.
متن کاملOn a p(x)-Kirchho equation via variational methods
This paper is concerned with the existence of two non-trivial weak solutions for a p(x)-Kirchho type problem by using the mountain pass theorem of Ambrosetti and Rabinowitz and Ekeland's variational principle and the theory of the variable exponent Sobolev spaces.
متن کاملOn nonlocal elliptic system of $p$-Kirchhoff-type in $mathbb{R}^N$
Using Nehari manifold methods and Mountain pass theorem, the existence of nontrivial and radially symmetric solutions for a class of $p$-Kirchhoff-type system are established.
متن کاملExistence of homoclinic solutions for a class of second order p-Laplacian systems with impulsive effects
This paper is concerned with the existence of homoclinic solutions for a class of second order p-Laplacian systems with impulsive effects. A new result is obtained under more relaxed conditions by using the mountain pass theorem, a weak convergence argument, and a weak version of Lieb’s lemma. MSC: 34C37; 35A15; 37J45; 47J30
